Because, I’m a Science Girl

January 13, 2017

Wearing your favorite music band tee as a statement piece is really big right now. And I am loving how they are being styled to make a personal statement. I love music but I am not really very big on a particular band but I am an engineer and a science girl. So I thought why can’t I rock a NASA tee!

Petite schoolboy blazer in linen • $99.50

Mens NASA T-Shirt Black • $12.99

boohoo Maisy Bodycon Mini Skirt • $7

Sam Edelman Okala Heel • $59

I have had this tee for a while now. To give the plain old black tee a more modern and chic look, I to spice up and give it a more chic feel I modified it a bit. I simply cut directly below the collar to create the neckline. I love how a simple cut just lifted this plain tee so much. Paired it with a black mini skirt and white linen blazer to amp up the look. I paired it with pointed toe heels to add a little edge to the outfit. The blue clutch (I have from ages ago) just ties the whole outfit together.

If you have an old band tee lying around, get it out from the closet and give it some new life. You can pair it with a pair of jeans or shorts, with sneakers or with heels. The possibilities are endless!
